Eric Alao
Eric has more than 20 years of hands on experience working across the entire Agribusiness Value chains in Nigeria. He has a deep understanding of the production capabilities for different commodities and fresh products in different regions of Nigeria. His passion is "Sustainable Sourcing of Agro Commodities" in and from Nigeria.
Currently, Eric works as a General manager at Obasanjo Farms Nigeria Limited as General Manager (2004 - 2015) prior to which he has worked as a regional manager of marketing for UNIPUMPS Nigeria Limited. He has also held positions as Agricultural Maintenance Engineer and hence possess a deep understanding of the dynamics of Nigerian Agriculture and advice's professionals in agro processing He has carried out various assignments in the areas of agribusiness development, value-chain development, sourcing and purchasing of Agricultural products and Processing Mills of Agricultural products.
Eric has consulted for world bank project FADAMA in northern Nigeria ( Kano), African Development Bank Project ATAPS in Northern Nigeria ( Sokoto/Kebbi).
He is a real example of life-long learning and has completed 3 degree and 7 certificate programs. Eric is an Agribusiness Academy Mini-MBA Alumni and is currently the business development partner for Agribusiness Academy in Nigeria
